Diabetes:
We are evaluating a once a day injectable ( under the skin ) Drug for Type II Diabetes. Patients must be on Metformin and/or ( Actos or Avandia ),
Have an A1c between 7.5 and 10, and have a BMI less than 45. There will be 15 visits to our clinic in 6 months. Two of the visits will detain the patient for 6 hours
and multiple blood draws. All supplies and study medication will be provided. Reimbursement will be $100 per visit to compensate for time and travel.
