Practice Philosophy:

Few professions offer dedication to the wellbeing of a person as Parenting. Medicine comes close, and Solo Family Practice adds two Dimensions  not found in large group practices. It offers direct access to the Doctor, without administrative barriers, and continuity of care by the same physician . These lead to  better communication and outcome of Care.

I began my career as an Engineer, where one uses a small set of data to arrive at a unique solution, in a Vertical fashion. I ended up in General Medicine where one maps a small set of each Patient's symptoms to a massive set of Disease Characteristics. This Horizontal mapping of information from a small set to a massive one is radically different from engineering. By combining Vertical analysis with Horizontal mapping, I have benefitted from both desciplines in my Problem Solving Acumen.

Caring , compassion and being unhurried by economical pressures are needed to achieve a good outcome. Like a good wine, Clinical Practice gets better with age. Overcoming obsolescence by continued education is the challenge.
